Michael Mahonen
President and Creative Director
Drawing upon 20 years of experience as an award-winning actor, Michael Mahonen also now writes, directs and produces as President and Creative Director of Requisite Films. Sandstorm© is Michael’s first film, winning multiple festival awards prior to its theatrical release in New York and Los Angeles this September.
He has recently completed a script for a feature film currently in pre-production, which will be shot in Canada’s Rocky Mountains. He is also working on another script focused on human rights abuses in China.
Michael has worked as a professional actor in film, television and theatre in both Canada and the U.S. appearing in CBC, Disney, CBS, Fox, Lifetime, Paramount and Bravo productions. He is a winner of the Gemini Award (Canada’s Emmy) for Best Lead Actor in a Movie or Mini-Series and has received three other Gemini nominations. His portrayal of Gus Pike in the Emmy-award winning series Avonlea, has been seen in over 160 countries.
Michael is writing two more screenplays for production with other projects in consideration.

Deborah L. Esayian
Executive Producer
Deborah Esayian is the pioneer of several innovations in broadcasting and the architect of one of the most profitable internet business models in the entertainment industry.
A former marketing manager with Procter & Gamble and successful entrepreneur, she is Founder and co-President of Emmis Interactive, Inc., a Chicago-based software company empowering the websites of broadcasters, publishers and entertainment brands worldwide.
In 2005 she was Executive Producer of The World’s Largest Piano Lesson, the first online interactive master class from Alice Tully Hall in Lincoln Center. She has produced several documentaries, two comedies and countless webcasts.
Deborah holds a B.S.N. from the University of Virginia and an M.B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis. Recognized in 2009 as one of the Most Influential Women in Broadcasting and RadioInk’s Tomorrow’s Top 40, she is best known for her skill in financing and managing creative projects with strong investor return.
Deborah maintains dual residency in the United States and Canada and is a native of the Philadelphia area.
